The Masters Dissertations collection contains digital copies of AUT University masters dissertations deposited with the Library since and made available open access. From onwards, all dissertations for masters degrees awarded are required to be deposited in Tuwhera Open Theses & Dissertations unless subject to an embargo. The Master of Arts (MA(Thesis)) prepares candidates for employment in education, regional and national government agencies, the private sector, and industry. The MA(Thesis) enables candidates to engage in a significant piece of independent research, providing specialist knowledge in their topic area. As a Masters student at the dissertation stage you’ll usually be matched with an academic within your institution who will be tasked with guiding your work.
